Our first release of this informational kit was limited to a select few… and it was a hit!

The few customers who have seen this kit loved it.

Now it is available to you too!

When you order you will receive a video, audio and a pdf download.

This three part kit is available now to everyone for $14.97

John,

Thanks
Carl Russell

Hey John.

Thanks for all the emails and tips. I just wanted to say that I caught a 7lb largemouth last week on a rebel pop r in 53 degree water on the delta in California. Decided to mess around and work on my top water action thinking there was no way I was going to catch anything with the water temp the way it was, and caught a nice spawner. Just goes to show that people shouldnt opt out any lure. You never know whatthey are going to bite.

Thanks again,

Ben Landis

Congrats guys on the great fish!

Bass Fishing.. Watch This!

Last week I was on Goguac Lake fishing with Matt Walker. He had just gotten back from Kentucky Lake and wanted to catch some more bass.

While we were at the dock he asked me…. “So when do I get some of those special pepper jigs?” I pulled out a 3/8 Pepper jig and handed it to him and said with my Bass crack dealer smile “remember the first one is always free”

Our first fish was caught on a red eye shad next to a rock. Matt cast out a spinner-bait by the dock and had no hit. I threw my rattle trap next to the dock and pulled it back slowly allowing it to pause and flutter down and pumped the lure up off the bottom a few times. On the first dock Matt fished with the spinnerbait… no hit, yet a good fish over three pounds swallowed the red eye shad.

Two docks latter I hit another fish an the red eye shad just throwing it next to the dock and pulling it back slow and yo-yo-ing the bait. The second fish was hooked in the top of the head and came off. It was a good sized fish and Matt was starting to think he should change lures. He picked up the pepper jig and fired it at the next dock we came to. The jig was not in there very long before he was setting the hook and dragging a fish back to the boat. From there we ran to the back of both channels. I missed two big fish on frogs.. one bit at close range and even though the fish had his mouth closed his head was pointing strait at me and when I set the hook the frog came out. It is real important that whenever you set the hook on a frog with a bass that bites close to the boat that that you give the fish extra time to swim away from the boat or to the side. If the fish is coming at the boat directly it makes it so much easier for the fish to miss the hook.

At the back of the big channel Matt caught another fish on a pepper jig and then we went back to the boat launch. Out in front of the boat launch there is hazard buoys that mark some old rubble from a long gone structure. It is basicly a few cribs full of rock and wood. Why they are marked off I don’t know. The junk is 5 or 6 feet deep and there is no way you would ever hit it with a boat. Anyway for as nice as it looks the only time you ever catch fish on it is in the spring. Matt brought his spinner-bait by the pile and caught a decent fish on it. After we drifted over it we were right in front of the boat launch.

Now here is a not so well guarded secret about Goguac lake. Right in front of the launch looking out from it there is a weed point that extends out into the lake a few hundred feet. It is one of the best spots to fish on the lake. The top of the point goes from 4 –7 feet and on one side of the point it goes down to about 11 to 14 foot and on the other side it drops to twenty five feet. As we drifted over the point there were two boats coming back to the launch. I said “ hey Matt watch this! I am going to catch a fish right in front of this boat.” I picked up my gold colored husky jerk and fired it out. Two casts later and a few jerks later and I had the biggest Bass of the day. Not a huge monster but big enough to put on a show. You should have heard the kid in the boat as they went by say “Wow look at that fish!”

So after we drifted the boat over the point I suggested that we go up wind and try it again. On the next drift through I was running my mouth and telling Matt how few pike I had caught out of Goguac lake. I told him how great that was because there is nothing more annoying to a bass fisherman than catching loads of hammer handle pike when you are Bass fishing. While as if I was not just asking for it I got a big strike on my jerk bait and it started shaking and throbbing and felt like a big fish. The fish came in fast and did not come to the surface. I turned around and looked at Matt and said “ This is not a Bass”.

Matt looked at me and said ‘Your right”! After the fish made one big run it came to the surface and we put it in the net. It was a 32 inch Northern Pike. Not a monster by any means but the biggest I have caught out of Goguac lake. The fish had a beautiful red orange color to the tail. I thought about taking it over to the ramp and giving it to one of the boats that had just got done fishing but I decided to let it go. Big Pike eat a lot of small pike and keep the population of small stunted bluegill from getting out of hand. So I decide to just let her go. Someone else can have the pleasure of catching her again.
