Three years ago I was walking down the aisle at the local Wal-Mart, and I happened to spot a new spinner bait sitting on the shelf. It was a Strike King premier plus spinner bait and it seemed to call out to me, "buy me!" "buy me!". I looked at it and thought that it would be a good addition to my tackle box and so I bought one and took it out for a day on the lake. I had always liked Strike King spinner baits and had caught a lot of fish on them, but this spinner bait was absolutely the best I had ever used. I caught fish like never before on the bait. I caught so many fish that I started keeping track. It was my intention to catch 100 and 1 keeper bass and then retire the bait and put it on my wall as a trophy. I got all the way to my 29th keeper bass when my bait finally broke in two. Now keep in mind that I only counted keeper bass and did not count undersized bass or northern pike that I had caught on my spinner bait. Northern pike really tear up a spinner bait. All together I probably landed seventy or more fish on that bait before it broke. Very impressive. What was even more impressive was that I could fish the bait that long. Many spinner baits that I have used get so bent out of shape after a few fish that you have to stop using them, but the premiere plus held its shape no matter how many bass tried to tear it apart or how many nasty pike tried to bite it in half.

So I can say that without a doubt from my personal experience that this is the greatest spinner bait ever made!

Whenever I go fishing with someone new I hand them one of these spinner baits and tell them to tie it on because it will catch them more fish.
